Hi, i have a problem with my computer.
Whenever i play counter-strike my computer hangs after a random amount of time.
Some times the VPU will recover but at other times my computer has to be restarted due to a hang on a black screen. I have 1 stick of corsair c2 memory at 2.75-2.76 V. Could this problem be because of RAM? BAD AGP SLOT? I have a Built-by ATI radeon 9800 pro 256.

Well, if you have more than one stick, take all but one out and test only one in different slots. If you only have one stick, try a different slot. That's all you can do besides buy/borrow different RAM to test.

What operating system?
What verson of directx?
Have you updated your video card drivers?
Are you overclocking?
Is your network card working properly? Update the drivers?

Harddrive issues, run scandisk and have you defragmented lately? Are you using Bus Mastring Drivers?

Have you made any changes before running the game that would have effected the system?
When was the last time you ran a spyware cleaner, this would be enough to cause many issues on the network while playing a game. Use Ad-aware for starters http://www.tucows.com/preview/236049.html
What other stuff have you checked?
Without knowing anything about your system this maybe some help!
good Luck!
