It is hard to tell from the picture & description - how is this anchored overhead? I am concerned about the stability of the anchor (we are buying a new house - I will have to anchor it to the bottom of the overhead deck & I am not sure of the material). I am also concerned because it is anchored on to only one point. What are your experiences?

I just ordered one of these. Thanks for the info. I plan to hang it under my boatdock. I think a big threaded bolt with a ring on one end would be the way to hang it but I'll have to see it first.

That sounds like a plan.

I am putting mine on my porch... considering a similar set-up unless I am able to securly screw it in to an overhead beam.

I got this chair last summer. Work great. Its a canvas material....very durable. Left it out all season long....did not fade. My wife asked me to pick her up one after she noticed how relaxing it was. No I am on the fold out chair while she hangs out the "luxury" chair.
