HANGING 3DMARK/AFTER SP2 INSTALLATION FIXED

Got tired of double booting formatted C: and did a clean install of w2k prof with slipstreamed sp2.

before sp2 my w2k 3dmark score was 2414
installed sp2 3dmark wont finish and just hangs
did a format and clean install with slip streamed sp2 and still cant finsish 3d mark Hangs.
my ge force 2mx is not overclocked

is there any fix needed after sp2? (eg amd fix)
any suggestions to trouble shoot appreciated/ updated to via 3.1 and detonator 12 still hangs
rest of burn in programs doing well (rc5,prime 95 sandra.) sandra scores and are about the same compared to pre-sp2
