Hang at memory-help

Asus kt7 raid - posts and then hangs with cursor under memory - it is not the memory - tried several sticks - different video card - reset cmos - different hard drive - still hangs

any ideas?

I'm assuming it finished counting the memory since the cursor was under it. Anyway, try booting from a floppy disk and see if it'll take you to the dos prompt. If it doesn't double check the bios settings to make sure it boots to A first and use the default setup. If it still does not boot try updating your bios. If it boots at the a: prompt, check the HDD. Make sure it's detected in the bios, connected and jumpered properly.
