I need a new futon roller, but no place carries the one I need. It is similair to this....

but one side is shorter than the other on mine.

I COULD buy this and try to cut one side to the right length, but I have no idea if I could make a good cut.

Can you guys think of clever ideas that just requires me going to homde depot instead of waiting on a part that may not even work?

i thought about that....but when i went to Home dept, I asked where I could get a dowel....the guy just gave me a blank stare.....

1) if you couldn't find dowels in HD, you shouldn't have been there.

2) it was either not an employee or the guy punked you.
