Hi,
I'm trying to install a Handspring Visor on a Windows 2000 (w/all updates) box. The installation goes okay, until it comes to the point where it asks to synchronize for the first time. The palm is detected no problem, but then it asks for PalmUSBD.sys (to install the device). For some reason, the C:/Program Files/Handspring/Drivers folder is not browseable. It's not a hidden folder, and through DOS I can access it so I know it's there. So I tried installing the files on another computer and bringing them over but that didn't work either. On Handspring's excellent support site, they say to use VisorUSB.inf or PalmUSB.sys, neither of which they offer. I haven't found them available anywhere on the net as well. I'm pulling my hair out with this one.
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.
p.s. I did try uninstalling and re-installing.
