My mother-in-law just purchased a bluetooth enabled cell phone and is having trouble with the little bluetooth headset AT&T gave her. So I was thinking of getting her a solar powered bluetooth speakerphone for her car. I wondered if anyone had any experience with them. If so, could you tell me the model and speak of the operation of it. My mother-in-law isn't very tech savvy, so something that has minimal buttons and can sync itself once within range of it would be helpful.

I've had a Motorola T505 for a couple years and absolutely love it. It's got a built in FM transmitter so it pumps it through your car stereo but will act as a regular speakerphone as well. Works great for calls but I use it mostly for podcasts and streaming music. On long night shifts it also makes for a decent surround sound small screen movie theater.

Yeah, been reading up on the Motorola T505 and the reviews are pretty good. The charging port also seems to be the same size of her phone also. But I was hoping to see some solar powered units. I may have to get the T505 for her and remind her to keep it charged like her phone. Or string the charger from her cigarette lighter up to her visor and clip the cable to her visor somehow.
