Handling Multiple Interview Requests

How do you go about dealing with the following multiple requests for interviews?

Company A says they want an interview sometime later next week, either Thursday or Friday and I'm awaiting word from them on what day it'll be.
Company B says they want to fly you out for an interview and requests available dates to be flown out.

Knowing that your early next week is already booked/unavailable and that you already have a pending interview on either Thursday or Friday with Company A, how do you go about dealing with Company B...

do you tell them you can't interview/fly out until the following week?

and if/when they ask you why, do you tell them you already have other interviews scheduled (would it reflect negatively upon you?) and therefore next week is unavailable? or do you make something up?

I wouldn't have issues telling one potential company that I'm interviewing with other companies. Makes you look "in demand."

make company B wait. if they're willing to fly you out, they're serious and should respect if you have plans. definitely tell them it's because of another interview, and not just because you planned on goofing off that day. maybe even make up a Company C so you seem super cool.
