We all know how to do "thanks" if someone lets you out so you can turn onto the main road. You know how to say "go ahead" telling someone to go head and go forward. Now how the hell do you say sorry? I mean like if you almost cause an accident and instead of rev-ing away or something feeling bad.... how can you say, "sorry" with hands? I know the other person may flip you off lol but anyways.

No wonder you need to say sorry. You're not holding the wheel!!

I generally would use the same signal for sorry and thank you.

Though yesterday driving in LA I was slowing down to stoplight and when I was less than 2 car lengths away a guy changes lanes from two lanes over to get in front of me. I slam on my brakes and honk, and the guy turns around and smiles and waves his arm.

Of course he had a Maine license plate, an LA driver would've given me the finger.

Yeah, you're right there's no easy way. When people wave after cutting me off I usually don't take it as "sorry".
