I'm trying to decide if I should pick this for my rig. CL9, 1.5v, and DDR3 1600. The only negative thing I see are the huge head spreaders, but as long as the i30 fits, I'm fine with it. The color is also kinda ugly, but I really don't care if the interior colors match. I was planning to get the Team Vulcan RAM (with it's tiny heat spreaders), but then I saw this for 10 dollars less. Is this a good deal?

PS: I don't know too much about RAM, so I would really love some pointers. 😀

Rig info: i5 4670k, HD 7870 (Was gonna get a GTX 760 🙁), Seagate 1 TB HDD, NZXT 550w PSU with 80+ Bronze, MSI Z87 G-43, i30 CPU cooler, the cheapest disk burner I could find, and a red Rosewill case.

I don't see anything wrong with that choice.
It's 1.5v and has good timings. Assuming the heatspreaders aren't a problem, it'd likely be a good choice.

Thanks! I really don't care too much about the heat spreaders, as long as they let my CPU cooler fit. I'll be sure to use that one and save 10 bucks 😛

Team Extreme... sigh... needing to send memory to china.. and then waiting for it... double sigh... (dual international shipping time sucks!)
They didnt offer Advance RMA at the time either...

Unless things changed... thats how i had to take care of RMA's when i used their memory.
I havent used them since for about 3 yrs now... However they do make good memory. .. dont get me wrong about that...
