In the trilogy of books it's revealed that he was one of 40ish Spartans, and that some of them were female.

And then make out afterwards, because she doesn't get enough action :p

Yeah, but IIRC the only one that didn't die was Linda, and she barely lived (or did she end up dying?) because they threw her in stasis. However, I think I remember a part where they "recruited" more trainees to make more Spartans. The funny thing about this video is that, according to the books, the Master Chief should pretty much be able to do any, if not all, of the stuff in that vid. Some of it was probably too over the top, like when he kicked that elite way across the way into a building, but a lot of that stuff seems to be within the realm of possibility as far as the books are concerned...for a Spartan, that is.

As far as I'm concerned, a Spartan would win in a fight against Samus any day :p, but if you consider that they're actually trained to fight in teams and put a team of Spartans against Samus, no contest IMO.

If I remember correctly, in Ghosts of Onyx, there was a whole other Spartan training camp, the Spartan IIIs. There's a few of those remaining both male and female, but that would require spoilerizing the book.

Also, I think it's established the Spartan in this video is the female one from the DoA game.

That video never says that it's master chief. It just shows that it's a spartan.

The spartan that's a playable character in Dead or Alive 4 is a female spartan. I'm assuming that is the one in this video.
