Looks pretty good. I have no idea why they felt the need to change Cortana's design, but whatever.

My understanding is that this is going to be a separate timeline from the games, so story might be completely different.

I've been hearing about this for a while. Yet another stupid show/movie based on a video game. I don't get it. Hollywood has truly lost all sense of originality.

Looks good to me, but I never particularly liked the games. I will say I hate 'faceless' characters in shows though, hopefully he's not masked up the entire time.

I is the same actress? Last time I played was xbox360 and from my aged memory it doesn't sound like her.

I prefer the design to be more serious, less cute teenager and true to OG. Also the voice is too human.

Isn't this TV show just a tad late to production? Like maybe a decade or so.....

Think I like the in-game cut scenes more than the mix of CGI and live action. I'm sure they spent a ton of money on it, but still feels very fake. Or at least cable channel level of CGI, not big production.

Eh, I think she's still a projection like in the game, it just looks more "real" than in the game.

I'm here for this -- grew up playing Halo, still playing it today.

The key to enjoying this? MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS. I know that will likely fall on deaf ears lol.

Nah that is the Master Chief Collection that came out a while ago.

Historically movies/shows based on video games have been disappointing at best with few exceptions.

More recent entries have bucked the trend. Castlevania, Arcane, DOTA, all excellent. Resident Evil and Dragon's Dogma weren't trash either. Given, none of those are live action, so hopefully they can find a way to make this work, but the bar has been raised since the good 'ol days where cream of the crop was Silent Hill.
