HALO : The Movie in trouble

Sounds like yet another Hollyweird pissing match between the movie makers and the publishing companies.
 
Sounds good, actually. Looks like Universal and Fox were being a couple of biotches. Now maybe they can get a production studio that has a brain.

The movie is still being produced. They just have to find another publishing company to deal with.
 
I just hope it turns out good, I'd rather imagine a good Halo movie than see another crappy 'video game goes to hollywood'. I need not bother listing any examples.
I think Halo would be a good CGI movie. F*ck hollywood and let some entusisatic young grads from FullSail do the leg work. It would be good, cause they would be fans.

i agree it wodul be much better as a CGI, the allready have the skins from the game for the people and enviroments + the voice acting can be the same, make it looke like FF advent children or something of that lvl of animation and it would rule IMO

IIRC, they planned on doing live action. it would be SO much better in CGI🙁
 
I don't see the problem. The LOTR movies grossed about $3 billion in the theaters (global box office) and still make a ton of money on DVD. PJ could fund this thing all by himself if he wanted. And it's not like MS is low on cash.

If Mel Gibson can do it on his own... These guys should have no problem.
