I don't know what's with that curious savegames that Microsoft applied in Halo.Not only they are enormous in size but they have bugs too.
Here's the story:
2 days ago I did a fresh install on wixp pro and kept the save files from the game,to copy them at the new installation later.
I installed winxp and halo and I copied the savefiles(approximately 425mb!!) to the new halo folder.
Game run without problems until I reached the next level 10 of the game.
In all checkpoints before that the game kept the savefiles normally, but when it was to change level all savefiles were lost!!
I did the same procedure (copy backup saves-play till the next level) but nothing. The game refuses to save when I pass the level.
What can be wrong? Does anyone have a similar experience?
Also when I installed the winxp, I changed the format system from NTFS to FAT32.Can that affect the savefiles in some way?
