How do I download this game? I really want to play this. Multiplayer on xbl was the best

If you're referring to Halo:Online, its not, strictly speaking "legal". Though if you search around it shouldn't be hard to find.

Seriously. I only played the campaigns, the first I got serious with the MP was 4 and playing the older ones makes me realize that the sole reason anybody likes it is for nostalgia and already knowing the maps. Everything is just sh1t from the netcode to the aiming and lack of objective indicators. Not to mention the lack of sprint makes it sooooo slow.

It was actually supposed to be a Mac release before Microsoft bought Bungie, then forced them to make it Xbox exclusive (with a later games for windows live release). It was also originally an RTS, not an FPS.

Yep first announced at Macworld in 1998. Not an RTS I don't think but an persistent open world 3D action game 3rd person.

It started as an RTS, moved to a 3rd person over the shoulder game, then turned into the FPS.

It did? I had one of those cards and don't remember the box very well. I figured that they would bring the game to pc as well as Mac since the pc was getting a lot more attention thanks to windows 98.
