Halo Legends

I searched and found nothing. Came out a few days ago, I've seen one okay review so far. Anyone here seen it yet? I remember liking the animatrix before I even knew what anime was, so I reckon this has a pretty good shot at being good...although I haven't played the halo games and don't really know the story line. I wonder how essential that is to enjoying it.
