i downloaded the halo trial from microsoft to see if it would run on my computer before i bought it. at the time i was using intel's gma 900 onboard graphics and the game worked. recently i bought a x800xl pci-e card and now the game wont run. it try to start it and get the message:
Halo - Fatal Errror
Problem: A problem occured initializing direct 3d. Hardware acceleration may be disabled, please run dxdiag

i ran dxdiag and tested it and all tests were succesfull, im using the drivers that came with the card but dont know how to check to see if i have catalyst 5.6, which i believe it the most recent.

the driver that shows up is:
Main Driver: ati2dvag.dll
Version: 6.14.0010.6490
my specs are: P4 2.8Ghz
Asus p5gdc-v deluxe mobo
1024 Mb ram
x800xl pci-e vid card
what do i need to do to get it to work
