Does it really require vista? What card would be recommended to run it at low-med settings at 1024x768?

I heard Vista only, but still a DX9 game.

M$ knows there aren't enough reasons to buy vista over XP, so it has to resort to moves like this to entice people to it.

I wouldn't take vista if I got it AND halo 2 for free. I can't afford any drop in performance of my 7600gt

Well if it makes you feel better, Halo 2 was no where near the level of the first one.

I know how it is, ive beaten it on xbox, but still, I really love the pc multiplayer of halo 1, and was hoping it would carry over to halo 2, but i guess I won't be finding out anytime soon

Yes. Halo 2 is M$'s attempt at forcing the Vista switch.

You know how they could have 'really' boosted Vista sales? Bundled Halo 2 with Vista. Make that part of the games folder. Now *that* would have sold Vista.

they took away the aim based aspect of the pistol cause too many noobs were getting pwned by people taht had aiming skills.

just like bf2 had that ghey cone of fire so that noobs had more of a chance against skilled players.

It doesn't. But people might somehow be able to mod it in with the included Editor.
