Halo 2

Is it worth the extra $10 for the bonus special edition DVD? Yes or no? Cause I just bought the original (not special edition) and havent opened it yet, should I go exchange for special edition?

$10? Did you get the regular edition for $5 less than retail, or are you paying $5 more for the SE?

I got the SE, but I haven't watched any of the second disc in fear of coming across any spoilers. 🙂

Why can't you do the research to find out the differences between the special edition and the non special edition, then make that decision for yourself? It's YOUR money that you're spending. Decide whether it's worth it to you, and you alone. Who cares what a load of leather-palmed geeks think?

I would certainly consider asking your peers what you thought of the extras "research"?

Lighten up.

It's only $5 more and if all the extra features don't interest you, the really cool looking case is enough justification for the five dollars.

Nah, not really. I'd look at what all comes extra with the special edition and decide for myself. I don't give a flying four letter word for copulation what you guys think about it. 😛

Just knowing what comes with the SE speaks only of the quantity, not the quality. The "research" you are insisting he do, would consist of getting an understanding of BOTH quantity and quality. There's simply no better way of accomplishing this without asking experienced peers.

Well, here in Canada the Regular is $59.99 the SE is $69.99

Hmm, Ok I guess I will go tommorrow and exchange my regular for the SE 😀

Why would we give a flying four letter word for copulation about what you think about people asking what other people think about Halo 2 vs Halo 2 SE, Jackass?

Not, Halo 2 is all hype. Basically an expansion for Halo with some new features and storyline.

And Half-Life 2 is an expansion of a 6-year old game with some new graphics engine and an extended storyline.

Ummm... What exactly did you expect from a SEQUEL?

sequel - That which follows; a succeeding part; continuation.

if it doesn't have more 'purdy' graphics then it's not a sequel, just an expansion.

Seems like that's what most people think, anyway. Look at the GTA series. The last 2 that have came out (VC, SA) have been called "overpriced expansions" by some.

Gameplay and storyline are way too often overlooked.

edit: man, fix your quotes! 😛

Is it true, that in the SE the game disc just sits on top of the DVD disc, there is no extra flap or anything, resulting in a sratched Game disc a lot of the time????
