Was at my local Half Price Books in tacoma, wa and saw large stacks of Halo 2 for pc at $24.95
I have it for xbox and it's a very good game. Mixed reviews among Halo fans, though...

They also had a medium sized stack of "Splinter Cell espionage pack" -- the regular game + Chaos Theory for $9.95 -- which seems like a deal. I haven't played Chaos Theory, so I dunno.

Both PC -- b&m -- ymmv

Too bad I would have to install Vista to play Halo 2...

I have found all sorts of year to two year old games real cheap at Half Price Books. Some especially good deals on high end versions. Definitely worth a look for older games at $5 to $10.

Great deal. I got it when it just came out. I never enjoyed Halo single player and this was no different. The only way I enjoy Halo is on COOP and since it was cut from the PC version it was a huge disappointment for me. If you like the Deathmatches chances are you'll still love this too.

I though this game would be in the under $10 section by now since it's an xbox port from 2004; a DX7 game that requires Vista.

Now that...is a really sad fact.
