Boo! Happy Halloween!!!

How is your Halloween going/what have you been doing?

See slutty dressed girls? Drunk already? Eating candy? Gonna watch a scary movie? Whats up. I'm bored and sick so I need to know whats going down across the nation.

Kids had a blast. My wife dressed our 1-year old daughter up in a poodle skirt but she ripped the "fluff" off the poodle. :shock; Fortunately, she had a chicken costume as a backup. My son dressed up as Green Lantern and had a fun time going around the neighborhood his 8-year old cousin. They finished trick-or-treating and came back and sorted candy while watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!"

Didn't have very many kids come by for some reason. We had decorations and the door open but didn't have the porch light on. I think that and the fact that we are at the bottom of a hill had something to do with it.

I've been playing FFXII for the last 2 hours, my eyes got sore so I'm taking a break to stare at my monitor (makes sense right?). There aren't very many kids coming because of the crazy lady across the road (cops have come once tonight because too many kids were out according to her), but the ones that do come get extra.

The b/f and I are sitting on the couch, eating pizza and drinking smoothies while watching Halloween 5.

We have no children.

edit: well, not children young enough to care about holloween. I have VeggieFrog, but she is 22yrs old in still in the UK.

Hmmmm....outside of haunted houses not much going on here, our usual nightclub isn't doing anything special tonight....they did all that over the weekend, when we were sick.

We were going to get friends and an Ouija Board and go to the park across the street (Cheeseman Park), because it was featured in World's Scariest Places. It used to be a huge cemetary and there's still something like 5,000 bodies buried underneath the site. All in good fun, we'd probably be drinking too to give the night some edge, 'cause the scariest thing out in that park is the prospect of being mugged and a$$-raped by the homeless-gay-druggie-prostitute population that inhabits that park at night.

...but that all kinda fell through 'cause it's supposed to get down to only 20F tonight and no one wanted to be cold. So instead we're gonna sit in, drink coffee w/ bailey's and watch movies.

Went to Chipotle in a group (most of us dressed in tin foil), got some free burritos. Then we went to Malley's and got some ice cream.

We actually had Halloween at work - some parts of the office have been decorated all month, and this afternoon people were allowed to bring their kids in to trick-or-treat. Heck, even some of the *employees* dressed up - I know I saw Mr. Incredible, and a couple of women dyed their hair and / or wore devil horns, stuff like that :p

The funniest part though was when I talked to one of my co-workers not too long before it was time to go today. I said I was surprised that his own son (who is 7) wasn't there. Turns out he was in trouble for getting a D and an F on a couple of papers he brought home from school :p

Just had some lame kids come by. Three kids, too old to be trick-or-treating, no costumes unless you count the kid with toilet paper in his ears and the other kid with a football saying he's Football-man. They were definitely from the wrong side of the tracks.

We tried (me + 3 housemates), but it was pathetic, there was almost no-one dressed up. So we all came back home early.

I'm here at work until 11. I feel like poopy due to illness. I have another night of restless insomnia to look forward to. My will to continue is declining.

A ton & a half of kids showed up. Much more then last year. I denied candy as usual to the teenagers without costumes. Still almost ran out of treats. We set a new record tonight. Thirty-two kids at one shot; one bell ring. Went through about five bowls of candy. Scared a few toddlers from even comming up the porch. Made me feel big. :)

holy cow! When I lived with my mom and dad, we were lucky to get a couple dozen, tops. Where do you live, smack in the middle of NYC or something?

Same thing happened to me! I just walked down to them and handed them a kit kat bar. :)

Stayed home handing out the treats. Had around 35 kids total I guess, about the same as last year. Gave away about 2 bowls of candy and still have a great big one left. Guess I bought too much candy. Anybody want any bite size Reese's cups?
