I kind of wish they'd just stop making new episodes of the Simpsons..

The first 5 minutes of the season premiere of Family Guy was funnier than the last 5 seasons of the Simpsons.

I love the older Simpsons though. It's classic.

"Hey, pal, why don't you do us all a favor and invent some underpants!" --The episode where Homer becomes an inventor and tries to best Edison.

One of the best was the one in 1999 where Homer forgot to fix the Y2K thing. The planes falling from the sky was soooo funny.

Quite Furry Tarantula and Fun Whimsical Time

EDIT: QFT came from the infamous "syringer" incident, where this guy had this tarantula (who he said was quite furry) and posted pics of a whole bunch of stuff covered with hair, and what to do about it. It was later discovered that it was actually his cat shedding, and everyone got ticked. Fun Whimsical Time is just something that everyone wants.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mean literally scary, but introspective scary. Their reading of The Raven for example was very well done, and that's a scary story.

I thought it was ok. People just dont have the creative ability as they used to. They should get some good horror writers for the Halloween specials.

Simpsons should have ended a while ago. Groening wants to end it but he is in a contract with Fox.

Simpsons>Family Guy

Family Guy is just a rework of the simpsons and adds more toilet humor, so you can understand why i find it funny at times.
