My daughter wants to dress up like a hippie. She is 11 yrs old. I am not a fashion hip person and have no idea where to go. Any ideas???

Go to a thrift store. Get some bellbottom jeans and maybe rip a few holes, get a tyedye shirt. Some red round glasses and maybe a headband.

Anything paisley is good. Leather vest. Patches on the jeans. Upside down american flag sewn on the butt. (maybe TOO authentic)

Flowers. Peace sign necklace. etc.

Good hippie outfit.

Bad hippie outfit.

Think beads, handmade portions of clothes, hemp, and being unkempt. Just think back to how you or your parents looked in older photos. There were no bright colors, everything was either brown or a washed out pastel, and clothing was free-flowing and loose.

Don't forget the roach clip. 😀

Guess what?? My daughter decided to be the AOL person. Thanks for your suggestions but I guess she has free choice!! LOL Anyway, went to Savers and found a pair of yellow panta and t-neck that matched. Talk about easy. She will wear black shoes and gloves, AOL person has no feet/hands. i thot it was a good idea. Anyway, thanks and trick or treat to everyone!!
