halloween costume question

So, I get the idea that I want to wear a rabbi costume to this halloween party. I find this great costume online, complete with beard, the hair curls, hat etc... Link to costume So when i tell my GF, she is dead against the idea, to the point that if I wear it, she won't come with me to this party. She says that I will get my ass kicked, someone will want to start a fight with me or I will offend jewish people. I don't think it's a big deal, especially with all of the priest and nun costumes I saw last halloween. She goes on to say that a costume is one thing, but wearing the beard, the curls etc... is offensive. So, whats the opinion of ATOT?
 
I think it's fine. Is she jewish or something? I can't really see an orthodox jew beating you up on Halloween for wearing that costume.
 
well considering the amount of catholic priests I see every year in the company of rugrat dolls, I see nothing wrong with this costume.
