Halflife 2!!!

It looks like Halflife 2 has been officially announced, and will display at e3 this year, as well as hopefully being released by the end of the year. Also, the NDA on it seems to die on 4/28 -- so more news soon!

More like six -- I think work first started on it in 97, possibly 98.

Agreed. HL was revolutionary when it came out. HL2 will be better than most FPS available now but the margin won't be as large as it was for the original HL

Unreal 2 was a big letdown. Hopefully Half-Life will be better or just as good as the first. I don't care though since Halo is coming for the PC and I just bought Metal Gear 2 for the PC.

I tend to agree, it will be very difficult to live up to the hype, but the Valve team seems very comitted to living up to that hype, I doubt that they would announce this if they didn't feel that they had something awesome.
