an interesting conversation came up in school today - a bunch of girls and guys were comparing people (yeah i know, but it's high school) and the point that most "half white, half something" kids are usually good looking. I tend to agree with that, and yeah I know there's no gene for good looks as it's all based on personal opinion, but does anyone have any comments on this?

Seriously, though, my sister's kids are all good looking, even though it was touch and go with my niece when she was younger. *shudder*

I've never seen a half-Asian half-white girl I didn't drool over. Of course I've met like 4, but they were all gorgeous.
I also knew two girls with one black parent and one white (one name Kyra, the other named Kira, to further confuse things) who were both also pretty hot. I knew a number of "Oreos" as it were, and most all of them were pretty, but those 2 were exceptional

I know quite a few halfies (hapas, mixed-breeds, mullatos etc.)

Some are extremely good-looking, some are extremely non-good-looking. Most are just about average...

Porn star Tera Patrick is half Thai/half British, and she looks incredible.

Maybe it has to do with diversity strengthening the gene pool? Dunno...
