Haven't seen many NBA threads so I thought I'd throw in one at the 1/2 way mark....All Star Weekend is about here....so let's here some thoughts...here are mine.
Again...the West looks like the dominant conference. Dallas is looking unstoppable and Phoenix with Nash and Stoudemire look amazing...and you could never count out the Spurs. But you could see lately that Phoenix will struggle if Nash is hurt.
To me the best the East have are the Cavs, Pistons, Heat and Chicago.....the Pistons are playing great ball now with Webber..the Cavs seem to be struggling...the Heat are starting to turn things around winning 7 out of their last eight. Chicago even with the addition of Big Ben are not a championship team yet.
My prediction....rematch of last years finals Dallas vs Heat with Dallas winning it in 7. I just don't think the Pistons have enough fire power to match Wade, Shaq, Posey, Haslem, Kapono and the added Eddie Jones. Dallas is just a step above Phoenix. I don't know about the Spurs...I just saw Miami spank them last week at American Airlines Arena.
Even though I think that Dallas is on a mission...I can't count out the Heat 100%....I wouldn't be totally surprised if the Heat win back to back ships.
