The graphics seem to look the same to me

It's not the full engine. The physics and the water effects are there, but the blocky character models and textures weren't updated at all.
Don't worry OP, there isn't much of a difference.

Seriously, HL:source could have been much better.

It had been so long between when I had played the original and when I played the source version, but it felt like the source version had some things a bit out of whack. Some of it is nice, but I'd probably rather stick with the original as HL:Source, IMO, really feels like it was something of a rush job just to get it out and help sell gold versions or whatever it was bundled with.
Black Mesa looks promising, but I almost get the feeling we'll have Half Life 3 before they finish![]()

So whats the difference between Half-Life:Source and just Half-Life?

So nothing added to the story at all? Just the water effects have changed
