Well well well, look what we have here. Check out this picture. What do you guys think? Is the Gman, Gordon's father? Maybe his future self? His lost brother, perhaps? The eyes are unnaturally bright green. Probably just a coincidence, eh?

Gordons father, no. Gordon would recognize him. You would hope anyways.
Gordon's future self? I really like that idea. Gordan freeMAN =GMAN

But I guess we all just need to wait for HL3 for all the secrets to be revealed ;)

Please feel free to NOT post another thread about HL2 unless it's atleast semi-important. I feel as if I've wasted my time coming in here........ :p

I just hope Valve is better and putting HL2 together, and finishing it, than they were with HL2....I wouldn't be surprised if they are already done with most of HL3, and it comes out next holiday season.....I hope it's at E3 this year!

They don't look anything alike, they are not related nor are they the same person. This is discussed to death on every semi-related forum on the net... but it's all base-less speculation.

We are all talking about the eye color, Mr Serious-pants. We're aloud to have fun with the idea and discuss it, this is a fourm. ;)

Maybe that's why we never hear Gordon speak. If we heard him speak and he had that same freak-ass accent that GMan has it would be a dead give away.

Hehe all this speculation is obviously just that. What isn't speculation at all is that Valve will be making a HL3. And I'm willing to bet it will be out pretty quickly (liek next holiday season like previously mentioned) UNLESS HL2 is still kicking ass then... Valve is no idiot. They won't kill a cash cow while its still rolling (You wonder why it took 6yrs to pump out HL2? Becuase HL1, Counter Strike and all its variables were still raking in the cash on the store shelves).

If the G-man is Gordon why would he give himself the option to face certain death at the end of HL1?

I don't follow Half-Life all that much...up until now, I always thought you guys where referring to the same person when you say GMAN or Gordon. I always thought G-Man was some crazy H41F-L1F3 leetspeek for Gordon :) Even the pictures, I thought one was him in a business suit and one in his armour. I'm a noob

"gman" is a term used for an odd government agent in the 50's or something...

So would Gordon put "self-employed" on his resumé, then?

 ~ well, it's like this, see...

Wouldn't work.
Then he wouldn't be in the situation to die or live, because he wouldn't be alive in the future to make himself choose.
If he is himself.
