Half-Life PS2 question

I have a BC PS3 and there is a games shop nearby that I called and they are the only ones in the area that do have an old copy and for cheaps too. I so want to go pick it up tomorrow but it will be a 20 minute drive. I just think Half-Life PS2 would be a great addition to my PS collection I have watched so many videos of it, I don't play on PC at all these days nor do I care for mods and what not. So I would rather get the PS2 version which also has updated graphics models and extra fun stuff.

I was wondering, does anyone know if I will have any compatibility issues on the PS3? Also, HL PS2 was developed with mouse and keyboard support, will a Mouse and Keyboard hooked up to the PS3 work like they would on the PS2 with HL?

If it doesn't work on the PS3 at all, I guess then I can get it on PC for nothing as well, but I really hope someone has an answer for this, otherwise I am gonna have to drive to find out :p

Excellent. I didn't know Sony had a public list.

After Playing HL2, Ep1, Ep2 on the PS3, I am finally going to find out the story from the beginning...on the PS3 as well :)

I beat Half-Life on PC & PS2. The PS2 version is great. Enjoy!

However Valve doesn't care for the PS3. So sadly you might not see Episode 3 on the PS3.

If you ever dive into PC gaming, check out Opposing Force & Blue Shift.

Oh man, got it today and it's just awesome to see an updated version of the original.

The Graphics are decent for the time this was made. I just wish they had upped the resolution...something like 480p... but I am not complaining considering how old the game is.

I am even playing this with my gaming mouse AND my trusty ole Belkin Nostromo Speedpad n52!

I was able through the game to program all my keys on the Nostromo like I want to. Now THAT'S EXACTLY how every single console FPS game should be like.

My only complaint is with the auto aim crosshairs, they should have added an optional disable for that, no need for that when mouse and keyboard are used.
