Half life pre-loading and stuff

Hi all,

I have just finished downloading the HL2 pre-load and whas wondering if it possible to make a backup.

I searched the steam directory but I can't realy find the downloaded file.

If somebody can tell me wich file exactly is downloaded and how big it is, then I can make a backup because I realy don't want to download it again in case there is a system crash or someting.
