I don't know what I am doing wrong, but my games are laggy. I have DSL and even when I play a LAN game I get the same thing. My screen waves from side to side slowly when I move my mouse and it is almost impossible to "stop on a dime" with my mouse. It is weird. I don't think it is my video card, nor my ram, but then again I do underbuffer when I burn a CD often. Could it be my ram??? Or is it my SH*TTY CPU/MOBO??? Please help if you can!!!

Hmm, I think what you are having is mouse lag. Try playing in a lower screen resolution.

I had the same problem with mine, All you have to do is change it from D3D to OpenGL and it will be fixed.

I have a similar setup to yours, K6 II 500, but I don't see any lag when I play over networks. I am on a T3, but you said you see lag even when you play LAN games, so connection speed shouldn't be an issue. Do you run the game server on your own machine when you play LAN? Could it be the server you're on is slow? Try testing your system in Q3 for frame rate. (If you have Q3)

I would try lowering your video options.
