HALF LIFE: BLUE SHIFT NOW AVAIALBLE ON STEAM!

It is available for people who own Half-Life 1, the Half-Life 2 Silver package, or the Half-Life 2 Gold package.

No Hi-Def support or Source integration just yet. In a couple week Hi-Def pack will be compatible apparently.

I'm still going to DL this though.

Didn't it upgrade your HL textures and models to be higher rez and poly-count?

They've been saying a couple of weeks for a couple of months. Just like DoD would be released in spring...

Blue Shift sucked. OpFor, on the other hand, rocked and I rate it higher than the original game.

Is Opposing Force included with Blue Shift? I thought I read a review that said that. I'd definitely like to play that, maybe Blue Shift, but it didn't seem too good.

Opposing Force as been available on Steam for a while now.

OF was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone who loved the original HL1. Blue Shift, on the other hand, just didn't seem as good and was WAY TOO SHORT.

Since it's free, definately try BS if you haven't, but I just don't think it's in the same league as the original and OF.
