I browsing through a PC World Article that discusses ATi's new 9700 when I read this and scratched my head:

Some impressive games that will take advantage of DirectX 9 are due for release soon, including the new Sierra Half-Life and John Carmack's much-anticipated Doom III.

Does this guy know something that nobody else knows, or at least isn't mentioning?

i am loyal to Half-Life et. al, but just think about the "release" of Team Fortress 2!

Halo was ten times better than Half-life but Half Life was a good game.

SWEET! I just finished HL again last night for fun. The game is amazingly easy for some reason

Half-Life was an awesome game... but Valve pisses me off... they only have one real game and they are milking it way too much.
