Half life 2 stress test

For those interested I, here are some results of my test with the HL2 engine.


1024 x 768 all settings to maximum detail and AF8x = 79FPS

1024 x 768 all settings to maximum detail, AF8x and FSAA4X = 74.33FPS


And it looks damn good in that resolution.

where did you get the game? Don't tell you download it.

Edit: sorry! I saw you on other theard that you pre-loaded it. Anyway good results can wait to get my copy.

If you have a copy of counterstrike you are able to download the counterstrike source beta. After you start the game there is an option to test the halflife2 engine. you get a demo just like the one seen in the first HL2 movies where you see the turning plates build out of different materials etc.
