I decompressed the smod folder to Program files II\steam\SteamApps\(my steam username)
Great. Now how do I run it? I've restarted Steam, and looked under the My Games. I see only:
Garry's Mod
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Portal
No signs of Smod anywhere. Is that where it's supposed to be? The FAQ at the SMOD site was quite useless:
Q: SMOD doesn't show up in Steam.
A: Restart Steam and look harder for it.
My mods in general haven't been working well. I've tried loading the Strider Cannon, and some extra NPC's into Garry's Mod. Nothing shows up, and all the "instructions" I can find assume the reader to be an expert already.
