Half Life 2 Question - The Gravity Gun

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm too afraid I'll blow myself to bits. Can you pick up flammable containers and left-click to launch them at monsters or do they just blow up in your face from the impact? I know you can with the little containers but what about the big ones?

If you're that worried, save it then try. But in answer to your question, yes... you can do that.

LOL, why not just save and reload if you do blow yourself to bits? This isn't Hardcore Diablo2 where you can only die once. 🙂

Yes, you can pick the containers up and throw them at zombies. They'll explode when they hit the monsters.

Yes, you can launch the larger containers too

You can pick up the explosive barrels and take out enemies. Just make sure they aren't too close or you will hurt yourself.

In one area, I had to pick up grenades that the combine had thrown my way and throw them back at the combine. Won't tell you which level/area though, cause I don't want to spoil it for you.

hahah, I just past the part with Father Gregor, I'm in the mines now. What would've happened had I launched paint buckets at him?
