here is a screenie of the email I recieved from Microcenter.

Three stores (Fairfax VA, Columbus OH, Dallas TX) will be having a monday night release for $39.82. You could also register to win a X800 XT.

oh man, there is a microcenter nearby (Santa Ana CA), i wonder if they'll be offering the same thing....

I'm in Washington, DC....but my mom's shop is about 2 miles from Microcenter in Fairfax. I MAY have to go check this out. :D

Thats pretty cool, 1 per store...so if your lucky less than 50 people will show up. :)

i think there's one in santa clara too. but on that flyer it says only available in the 3 locations mentioned in the OP :(

I just picked up HL2 for 39.82 at my local Micro Center and it's still on their website for that much....

dunno, but i printed the ad, ran to bestbuy, pm, gamers coupn, out the door for less than 37 :)

So i guess i did benefit from this post
The Santa Ana (actually the Tustin/Irvine) store did not have the sale, weaksauce.
there is one in Santa Clara, it's near Great America in the same shopping plaza bizdeal as AMC Mercado.

Got mine for 38.92 at compussr, pricematched microcenter (irvine/tustin) they did have it on sale, i called. Also get a free 10 dollar gift certificate
