Half Life 2 Cel-Shaded.

I know that with Radeon 9700/9800, and probably others, in the 3D properties tab, under Display Properties, click on Custom, then the Smartshader Effects tab - B&W, Classic, Inverse Color, Porthole, RGB Cycle, and Stylize-B&W are the options you can choose from. Sounds like it shouldn't be too awful difficult then to add or change around other shaders.

I agree, it looks sort of like a "photo negative" effect, combined with color-depth-reduction effect or something, not exactly quite like the "cel-shaded" video games that I've seen. (Although I've not played too many of them, and I don't really care for that style myself.)

Really? Even the first few? I agree, the last few just look like HDR only, but the first few, in my opinion, are perfect examples of cel-shading. I guess we have different standards.

this doesnt look great, but jesus, it wasnt built for cell shaded graphics. I think it looks much better than that pos cellshaded mod they had for doom3.

You know, it looks more like a photoshop filter than cel-shaded. XIII was cel-shaded, there's a HUGE difference. Not a matter of standards, just a matter of what is and isn't. He even says it's a photoshop filter, and if you use photoshop you'd know it.
