Half-Life 2 a nvidia ONLY game?

Use your brain, it will not be an Nvidia specific title -- that would be near suicide considering the marketbase for all other video cards out there. I'm sure HL2 will run on non-Nvidia hardware, but I'm betting some Cg code is going to look awesome on an Nvidia card vs. an ATI card that don't have any optimizations.

I Agree.
But it probably means that it`ll have the crappy nVidia logo in game somewhere.

also being discussed in the video forums

and that stupid nvidia logo doesnt mean anyhting, i changed the one on ut2003 from nvidia to an ATI logo (the way nvidia wants to be played)

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's a poor attempt at an April Fools joke as there's absolutely no way that it could be true.

lol quite possible, they are being released somtime around never

Are we forgetting HalfLife is perhaps one of the most played online games of all time... HL mods require HalfLife....
Im sure this game will be a bigger deal than a simple bundle with Duke Nukem...

Does anyone else cringe when people miss an obvious joke?

yeah...its always good for a laugh when someone misses the original joke though.

condition zero is checuled to be out in like a month or two from what i have heard fomr the CS addicts, and i ahvent heard anyhting about HL2 od TF2

What is the recommended system requirements for this game? I don't just mean the minimal just so you can play it @ 1 FPS.

What everyone is forgetting is that on of the strong points for ATI in this year's E3 was the fact that HL2 was showcased on a 9800 Pro. If some of you visited ATI during E3, HL2 it made the front page.

Absolutely. HL2 is even more anxiously awaited by the gaming world than the much hyped Doom3.
And have you seen the HL2 (600MB) demo? Amazing.
And it's a demo in the sense that it is not a game demo, but a narrated demonstration of the game engine, graphics and brief gameplay.

not only that but officially Condition Zero is scheduled to be realeased after HL2 and TFC2

Well the latest I had heard, was CZ in June and then HL2 in September, but anything is possible.

BTW, CZ is meant to mesh for online multiplayer with CS downloadable version 1.7, skipping the public release of 1.6 altogether.
