Half installed network card, now errors, please help!

Hey all. I noticed that in my Add New Hardware window, my network card appeared uninstalled. So, I popped in the driver CD and tried to install it. I got so far as to where it asks for the Windows98 CD, where I had to stop since I didn't have it on hand. On my next boot up, I get 3 error messages saying 3 different files were not found, so I continue. Then, when Windows starts I get a pop up saying that some file is missing and Microsoft Networking cannot function.

Will all this end when I properly install the card?

Will this all end? Yes, once you properly install the drivers. I would recommend that once you have all the CDs you need, you go into Device Manager and uninstall the network card, then reboot. When Windows starts, it should prompt you for the software, so you can start over again.
