I have an IBM 36XP SCSI drive. I think it's a half-height drive but someone else said it was full height. The actual dimensions are:

Height 41.0 mm
Width 101.85 mm
Depth 147.0 mm

So is it half or full?

its a half height drive. the full height ones are even bigger, the oldest scsi drives are full height. the 36xp is the middle size, the smaller ones are usually called low-profile or 1" drives.
