What the heck? Half.com has *no* way for you to get refunded if a seller screws you over. At least with Ebay you could request their phone number and address and hit them with a sock filled with sh*t...Half.com has nothing it seems.

Or am I mistaken? I bought a book a month and a half ago (for $4.44 so I'm not starving because I didn't get it) and it still hasn't come, nor have I gotten response from using their "Initiate buyer/seller communication" things and sending a few emails to their Customer Service.

Sorry to hear of your trouble. I cannot believe they (Half.com) won't do something.

I too bought a book and it came Thursday. I used a credit card (only way to buy online) and have no hesitation about contacting the CC company if I don't get the goods.

They do have a refund policy, but I am sure it takes some time because they have to decide whose word to believe.

Actually, they're slow, but they will get your money back in the end. I believe that sellers are paid on the 15th and 30th, so they can just take the money out of an account. In your case, it may be taking a long time because they're trying to get the money.

Someone was advertisining playstations on half.com for a low price and i bought one. turned out to be fraud, and after 2 weeks half.com refunded my money back.
