Half.com has a really stupid checkout system!

I go to half.com, find the books that I want and proceed to checkout. Then I logged into my account and it cleared everything in my cart because I guess I logged in. So I went back to pick out the books that I had gotten from the individual sellers (used books). It shows the books, but for all the books I choose it says "This item is no longer available" and "Another member has already reserved the item you attempted to place in your cart. Please return to the product page to select a copy from a different seller."

WTF?? DAMMIT!
