Apparently this is what happens on my pc. Recently I installed a USB 2.0 card. After that I?ve ran into various problems with stop errors and bios freezes. I took out the card and it still seems to happen. However in the stop errors it gives it from a hall.dll file all the freaking time!!! I?m going insane over this. Anyways also what happens is when I restart it goes into the windows dos load bar, fills up. Then freezes on impact. Sometimes however it would just display odd code in dos whenever it would crash. I?ve also just left it at the startup screen and it also does the same thing even without me touching it!!!! I would like some suggestions please.
BTW I?m running windows 2000 and my hardware specs are AMD Athlon 2000+, KR7A motherboard (non raid) PNY Gforce 4400, an ATA Serial card and a Net gear FA310TX network card. (I always keep this Mac around since it doesn?t do this crap to me, don?t get me wrong I use both platforms for there strengths and weakness? however the pcs strength in stability blows, end of story)
