Try a repair install if it's using Windows. You use the Windows install CD and start a regular install, then select the SECOND "R" that comes up near the early part of the install. Not the Recovery Console option, but the next R. It will proceed like a regular install but will just repair the registry and Windows corrupted files. Settings and programs will not be affected. So give it a try, it should get the program running without a clean install.
