Hair inside LCD screen

Somehow a hair found its way to the innards of my LCD screen. It's small, but annoying nonetheless, especially on white backgrounds. Is it worth it to open up the panel and try and blow it out with compressed air or should I learn to love my stationary on-screen buddy?

Here are two pictures of the hair, just above the mouse pointer. It could be a scratch but it seems like a hair to me.

Are you sure that is not a scratch on the screen? Sure looks like a scratch.
