hair gel/spray with hold but isn't sticky?

i'm using american crew gel and sprays now and it's great when i first put it on, but after a few hours it loses the shinyness and sharpness. i have some other stuff like pomade and various other things that have much better hold but they are really really sticky. is there anything that can keep the shiny and sharpness but isn't sticky when you run your fingers through your hair?

yea i have a jar of it... but i haven't had the courage to use a lot of it, it's really sticky and i get the feeling like it would never dry (just always stay sticky)

i love their conditioner even though i don't use it very often.... minty 🙂
 
I dont know how your hair is, but I just make mine spikey all around using pomade. I dont use a comb I use my fingers and I just shape it out and rub all over to make sure no part is sticky. I can run my fingers through my hair with no problem.

Not that I don't like you, but seeing all these once-weres in such a short duration is weird. 😕
 
I use AC Pomade, & like it.

It's a bit sticky, but much better than gel or spray or other goop.
 
i've had good results with this paul mitchell foamy stuff...it just sorta dissapears into your hair...

w00t. i use dep too. #10 sport hold. its cheap and it holds like no other. problem is its way too stiff for me. i like my hair still natural-ish, not rock hard.
 
American crew is decent, but there are a lot of better brands of wax and pomade from Korea and Japan... much more expensive though
