Hail damage.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

on monday a afternoon storm came over the house which dropped a tornado 5 miles west of me then dropped 2 more 8 miles east of me. my little town was at ground zero and got nailed by 1 - 1 1/2 hail.

i had shingles blown off. the north and west side windows werent broken but the vinyl around the windows are busted all up, my hot tub cover looks like a golf ball.

of course im calling the insuracne and filing a calim.

hail sucks.

I pray for a little hail damage on my car every time it storms. A few dents == ka-ching! (Ha ha, I feel superior because I don't have that "always worried about my car because its 3x more expensive than necessary" disease.)

On the other hand, I do own a home, and that kind of damage would cause me a lot of temporary pain, until it was all fixed up, that is. Having roofing, window, and siding crews to accommodate would be work in itself. (They always start at 7 AM, only a couple hours after I leave work--I wouldn't get much sleep.)

Ha, moved into a house the end of July '06...end of August '06 we had softball sized hail...figures

Hail is a bummer...it used to be so cool when I was a little kid, before I owned anything that it destroyed

The worse i've ever seen has been pebble sized hail in my part of Texas.

Quite a few dents on the roof of my cr-v but most of it isn't noticeable unless you look for it.
