man oh man, I love some of those bands (Immortal and Dimmu Borgir) but even I agree they're fvcking ridiculous. I'm glad not very many black metal bands make videos, because seriously, how can you take their music seriously when they look like that?

Oh, and Dani Filth is a douchebag. I can't stand CoF. Those caterwauling screeches hurt my ears.

I saw Dimmu Borgir on Tuesday and not only did I find the music boring, their act was just plain silly. The lead singer still talks with his forced raspy voice. Its one thing to growl when you sing, but when you're talking? c'mon! Towards the end of their set they said thanks "except for the guy who was flipping them off up front".. if they looked over my way I was ready to flip them off too. (I was 4th row. )
The only interesting parts of their song was one melodic guitar jam they had and when the bassist was singing.

Hah .... Immortal and Satyricon make great music though .... well, Satyricon not so much any more, but they had some awesome releases (Shadowthrone &amp; Dark Medievil Times)
